“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
    2 Timothy 2:15

Our AWANA ministry has become a key component of our Fourth Kids Ministry.
On Wednesday nights from September through April “clubbers” spend
an hour and a half learning Bible stories, memorizing Scripture,
and playing highly structured, high-energy games.

    What does AWANA stand for?

Awana takes its name from 2 Timothy 2:15.  Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.

    What is AWANA?

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

    Where do I go?

Our clubbers meet downstairs on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:45 pm.

    What happens in inclement weather?

Fourth Avenue’s Awana Club follows Williamson County School’s weather policy.  If Williamson County is closed or dismisses early for inclement weather, we will not meet for Awana.
