“For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
and praise spring up before all nations.”

    Isaiah 61:11

Wonder, imagination and curiosity.  This sums up the world of preschoolers.  At 4th Avenue, we want to harness that curiosity and use it to instill a strong desire in our preschool children to know God.

Our aim is to present God’s Word in a way that children will understand the nature of who God is and are drawn to Him.  We are about the development of children’s spiritual roots and the transformation of their lives.  Our goal is to love each child personally and to provide a wonderful learning environment so that God’s Word may be established in their hearts.

Where do I go?  What do I do?

Our preschool classrooms are on the lower level.  As you bring your child downstairs, you will sign them in and they will join all preschoolers in our Praise Garden ready for a Bible story and Worship songs.  Our programming lasts until the end of the adult Bible Class time.

    Security Information

The security of your children is of utmost importance to all our volunteers.  You will check in your child at kiosks located around the building. The kiosk will provide a nametag for your child along with any allergy information, if applicable.  You will receive a Parent Receipt that is coded to match your child’s nametag.  You will show the receipt in order to pick up your child.  All of our volunteers undergo a background check before serving.

    Wellness Policy

Please help us provide a healthy environment in our classrooms by keeping your child at home when you observe any of the following symptoms:

Sick children should be kept at home until they have been free of symptoms for 24 hours. If your child becomes ill while in class, you will be promptly notified via text message. Please keep your phone on silent but vibrate mode so that we can contact you in case of emergency. For your child’s protection, caregivers and teachers are asked to follow the same guidelines.
