Albert Lemmons

Pastoral Care Minister

Albert has served on the Fourth Avenue staff since 2002. During his time with us, Albert has led the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, which has received over 150,000 prayer requests from the church family. The growing involvement in this ministry has taken a priority position in the church’s life and supports the Shepherds’ desire to create a culture of prayer.

Albert’s education spanned twenty years at seven colleges, universities and seminaries, ultimately receiving his Doctor of Ministry degree. His international prayer ministry has extended beyond four decades on five continents. He continues to speak at meetings, workshops and seminars. He serves as a member of the Presidential Prayer Committee and has for 20 years. Albert has been married to Patsy Davenport Lemmons for 64 years. They have five children and eleven grandchildren.

Dan Dozier

Spiritual Life Minister

Dan Dozier serves in a part-time position as Spiritual Life Minister. His primary roles are to facilitate adult Bible classes, life groups, and men’s groups. Dan has served churches in Valdosta, GA, Memphis, TN, Kansas City, MO, Madison, TN, Hendersonville, TN, Nashville, TN, and Antioch, TN before arriving at Fourth Avenue. He has also served as a shepherd at two of those churches.

He is a graduate of David Lipscomb College (B.A.) Harding Graduate School of Religion (M.Th.) , Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div), and Abilene Christian University (D.Min).

He and his wife, JaneLee, married in 1972. They have three grown children and eight grandchildren, all who live in the Nashville area. JaneLee retired after 31 years as a pre-K teacher at Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, TN, and now works three days a week as a teacher’s aid at Otter Creek pre-K. Dan and JaneLee enjoy travel and keeping up with all the activities of their eight grandchildren.

Devon Dixon

Early Childhood Minister

Devon oversees our ministry environments for our nursery and preschoolers. She loves little children and is delighted to be serving in these ministries. Devon and her husband Ben got married in 2008 and now have five children. They have been members at Fourth Avenue for nearly 9 years. As a family, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and playing games. Devon is also a painter and illustrator; she has always found the beauty in the world to be in the details.

Erin Owens

Children’s Minister

Erin serves as the Children’s Minister at Fourth Avenue. She is thrilled to come alongside families to help the next generation discover the goodness of Jesus. She graduated from Auburn University with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Previously, Erin worked as an elementary school teacher for 5 years. She and her husband, Josh, have a daughter named Piper. As a family, they enjoy afternoon walks, trips to the zoo, and dancing in the kitchen.

Gary Shrader

Executive Minister

Gary Shrader is Executive Minister at 4th. He came to Fourth Avenue after retiring from Williamson County Schools after 30 years as a teacher, coach, and principal. Gary works with the staff, members, ministries, and shepherds to serve the congregation and community. Gary and his family have been involved members at Fourth Avenue since 2000. Gary and Lydia have been married over 30 years, and have 3 boys: Brad, Bryan, and Cameron. Lydia is a retired teacher, and now works as a sitter with the elderly. They enjoy travel, nature, gardening, antiquing, and photography.

Katherine Morrow

Administrative Assistant

Katherine serves as an administrative assistant for Fourth Avenue.  Her focus includes our church management software, various technology needs, and our HR department.  Katherine and her husband Lee have attended Fourth Avenue for 20 years.  They stay busy with their three boys, Andon, and twins, Jackson and Kenan.

Kyle Dingus

Preaching Minister

Kyle serves as the Preaching Minister at Fourth. He has been serving in ministry in various capacities throughout his career, including preaching and young professionals ministry, teaching high school Bible classes, and serving on staff at a rehabilitation center. He has his B.A. in Bible and Ministry from Harding University and his M.Div. from Harding School of Theology. He is married to his lovely wife, Abby, and he enjoys conversations about Jesus, spending time with Abby, listening to podcasts, reading books, playing and watching sports, listening to music, watching movies, and hiking.

Laura DiPasquale

Administrative Assistant & Facilities Manager

Laura serves as an Administrative Assistant and Facilities Manager. Her duties focus mainly on daily accounting procedures as well as scheduling and care of our building. Laura has served on staff for one year and has been a member here at Fourth Avenue for eight years. She and her husband, Eric, have two children, Scarlett and Aidan. Laura enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and their dog, Tucker.

Libby Alvarez

Reach Minister

Libby Alvarez serves in a part time role as a Reach Minister for Fourth Avenue Church. Her focus is to amplify the church’s vision and create an online presence that shares the message of Jesus. Her and her husband have been connected with Fourth Avenue for many years leading the youth mission team each year to Guatemala. Their daughter, Camila, shares their enthusiasm for Fourth Avenue and has grown in her faith through programs like Sprouts.

Nicholas Winn

Student Minister

Nicholas serves as a student minister for YAF. He has grown up and lived around Nashville his whole life. Nicholas grew up at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ, where he developed a deep love and passion for the mission of God. Nick, as most people call him, received his undergraduate degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Abilene Christian in 2019 and went on to get his Master of Divinity from Lipscomb in December 2021. Nicholas and his wife, Melissa, have been married since December 2022 and enjoy spending time with their dog, Bella. In his free time, you can find Nick cheering on the Titans, Preds, or even Nashville SC. He loves disc golf, hiking, and always catching up on the latest Marvel movie. Nick loves walking with students through some of the most formative years of their lives and loves helping them ask big questions about God, faith, and life.

Nikki Fox

Student Minister

Nikki was born and raised in Cookeville, TN where she graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Library Sciences. She has been serving in student ministry for 8 years and is passionate about loving people and helping them discover their voice and purpose. Nikki believes Jesus came to give us life to the FULL, and she plans on pursuing that for the rest of her time here on earth. She loves Jesus, family, friends, singing, running, coffee, and essential oils and you can always be sure she’s up for a new adventure or doing anything outdoors. Paul stated it best when he said in Acts 20:24 “But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.”
