“For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.” –Isaiah 61:11
Our hope is that babies in our nursery, 6 months through 24 months, will experience the love of Christ through our volunteers. In Bible class, songs and play are used to communicate the importance of prayer and the Bible.
Where do I go? What do I do?
The nursery area is on the main floor by the 5th Avenue entrance. One of our caring security desk workers will help you check your child into the nursery.
The safety of your children is of utmost importance to all our volunteers. You will check in your child at the kiosk located in the nursery area. The kiosk will provide a name-tag for your child along with any allergy information, if applicable. You will receive a Parent Receipt that is coded to match your child’s name-tag. You will show the receipt in order to pick up your child. All of our volunteers undergo a background check before serving.
Please help us provide a healthy environment in our classrooms by keeping your child at home when you observe any of the following symptoms:
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Eye discharge (in or around the eyes)
- Questionable rashes
- Other contagious illness
Sick children should be kept at home until they have been free of symptoms for 24 hours. If your child becomes ill while in class, you will be promptly notified via text message. Please keep your phone on silent but vibrate mode so that we can contact you in case of emergency. For your child’s protection, caregivers and teachers are asked to follow the same guidelines.
